Diana Sakaris


Managing & Artistic Director

Born in Sydney, Diana started dance classes at the age of four. She studied Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and National Dance at Joan and Monica Halliday’s Dance Art Centre, where she undertook all her dance training and completed all R.A.D. levels up to advanced and Jazz Examinations with Distinction.

Diana also completed an associate Diploma in Childcare Studies and Social Science where she blended her artistic talents with her love of teaching children.

Prior to founding Tempo Red Academy, Diana served as Head of the Babies and Tiny tots program at Brent Street Studios, as well as teaching across other genres and disciplines. Diana has over 20 years’ experience as a dance teacher and choreographer and is passionate about training her students to be versatile dancers in all styles of the performing arts with a strong foundation in ballet. Diana has recently implemented into her performing arts school the internationally acclaimed & award winning babyballet® pre-school dance program, for boys and girls 18months to 4 years. It’s the perfect start for Tempo Red’s youngest dancers to begin their dance journey by experiencing the magic of babyballet and igniting their passion for dance.

Shae McDougall

Vocals / Studio Coordinator / Accounts

Born on the Northern Beaches, Shae started dance at the age of 5 and danced throughout her school years at Tempo Red. While Shae studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Drama, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Acrobatics, her true passion was in the Urban Hip Hop, Break dance field and Singing.

Her friendly and bubbly personality, along with her connection to Tempo Red and love for the performing arts, made her a natural candidate as our Studio Coordinator. Shae has a Bachelor of Music and Sound Design, Certificate IV in Entertainment and has complete multiple courses under Cheryl Porter the World’s No.1 Vocal Coach.

We are thrilled Shae is part of our team and with her genuine passion for helping, growing and supporting Children and their families, we know and trust that our tribe will be well cared for.

Deborah Patience

RAD Ballet (Registered Teacher), Progressing Ballet Technique & Body Conditioning

Deborah studied RAD ballet and ISTD National Character as a child with Dalvern Thom and then went on to continue her studies full time with Joan and Monica Halliday, completing all levels including her RAD Advanced Certificate in ballet and achieving high level results and her ARAD status.

After travelling extensively and performing internationally, Deborah returned to her teaching career and completed her RAD teacher training qualification with Prudence Bowen and has been an active RAD registered teacher since 1992.

Chloe Taylor

Jazz & Conditioning

Chloe Taylor completed her Certificate IV in Performing Arts and Dance. Chloe began training full-time whilst studying school via correspondence at 13 years old receiving numerous scholarships and under the guidance of many internationally recognised choreographers.

Since Graduating Chloe went on to train in Marko Panzics ‘Show Business’ course. And also signed with Sydney’s Jeep Management. Chloe has trained under many well known teachers including Rhapsody James, Jacquie Howard, Marko Panzic, Mathew Gode , Leah Howard, Euan Doige and many more.


Tamara Harrison


Tamara Harrison started her dance journey at the age of 7 with the majority of her training being done at Dance North Academy. At the age of 12 she completed 3 years with the Australian Ballet Interstate Program where her love for ballet blossomed.

After school, she continued her dance studies completing a Certificate IV in Dance and Performing Arts at Brent Street Studios. Since graduating Tamara has worked professionally in a wide variety of genres, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and hip-hop.

One of her highlights was a 6-month contract in Mumbai, India performing in various Bollywood movies, music video clips, extravagant weddings and various VIP events.

Tamara has a passion for ballet and dance, which she hopes to be able to inspire in our babyballet® stars at Tempo Red.

Isabella Spiteri

Lyrical & Contemporary

Isabella started dancing from the age of 3 years old and since then she was always motivated to create a career for herself in the performing arts. She started training at Lee Windon Dancers (2003-2016) in all styles of dance and did extra training at Glenda Yee School Of Dance.

At the age of 15 she left high school to attend the Brent Street Academy to pursue her dance at a higher level whilst finishing her schooling to receive a Certificate IV at the end of year 12.

Dylan Bull

Hip Hop & Break

Dylan has been dancing for 10 years and he has trained across all genres but specialises in urban, hip hop styles and contemporary. Dylan completed the Elite Performance Diploma at Brent Street in 2020 and hopes to be a renowned choreographer and dancer who dances internationally as well as around Australia.

Dylan has back up danced for artists such as John-Paul-young, Vanessa Amorosi and has performed for companies such as the Melbourne Storm. He is also currently with the Hip Hop crew “Pioneers” and will compete with them around Australia throughout this year.

Alice Bendall

Musical Theatre, Singing & Private Voice

Alice Bendall graduated from Arts Educational School after 3 years of triple threat training with a degree in  Musical Theatre. She went straight into working in and around London’s West End with an Agent as a Performer, Voice Over Artist, Choreographer and Director.

Alice has worked in London to rework staging and choreography ideas for Matilda the Musical. She also worked on the UK Billy Elliot Youth Program – Performing to sell-out shows at Malvern Theatres.

This love of creating and nurturing talent has caused Alice to continue teaching and tutoring – even when working professionally. Alice is keen to work with Tempo Red students to develop their potential and join the Tempo Red family!

Reid Perry

Reid Perry

Tap Instructor

Reid began dancing from a young age at Tap Pups under Dein Perry. During his childhood years he performed at many lucrative events including the Lord Mayor’s New Years Eve Party at the Opera House in 2015, He also appeared on The Footy Show, at the re-opening of Luna Park, at the World Masters Games Opening ceremony and many more.

Reid was lucky enough to make his Tap Dogs debut in 2016 and has performed corporate events with the Tap Dogs all over Australia.

Elizabeth Corbett

Musical Theatre, Acrobatics and babyballet®

Lizzie began dancing at the age of 9 when a small school opened in her hometown of Junee. After attending boarding school in Sydney, she was accepted into Lee Academy’s rigorous full-time professional program. Lizzie has recently completed her studies, graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) and Diploma of Musical Theatre. She is trained in a wide range of styles, including aerials (lyra and silks), acrodance and showgirl technique.

Lizzie recently performed with aKrobatiKa in their inaugural show ‘Australia Dreaming’, and recurring shows at the Magician’s Cabaret in Darlinghurst. She is also an accredited teacher with Acrobatic Arts and Rhythm Works, and also holds her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management. She looks forward to working with the students at Tempo Red and sharing her passion for dance with them.

Charlotte Rowe

Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Lyrical

Charlotte has recently trained full time at Brent Street, gaining her Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) focusing on Performing Arts. Training from a young age her credits include; competing across America, leading the Disneyland parades, representing Brent Street on Sunrise and many other industry events.

She has been trained by many of the top choreographers in the industry such as Cameron Mitchell, Mitchell Woodcock, Matt Lee, Sophie Holloway, Matthew Gode and many more.

Charlotte is currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education Degree at University this year.

Her passion and dedication for kids to reach their best is what pushes her as a teacher and choreographer in the classroom. Charlotte is excited to be part of our tribe and looks forward to inspiring our dancers and build their passion through dance.
